LETTER TO A FRIEND

Dear Fathira,

It is early evening and I am sitting in a Dae Han Min Guk Reastaurant with a cup of tea close to all my homework. It is a cold day in Seoul, South Korea. It is winter and I am feeling homesick. I am thinking of you and all my friends in Indonesia. I really miss everyone. Outside, many people paced back and forth  on the street. All of them are wearing thick clothes and gloves to warming their body. I think everyone is in a hurry to quickly to come back home. Buses and cars are moving up and down the street. Inside, it is very warm and comfortable. There are three high school girls at the table next to mine. One of them bringing a laptop. They are really much talking and laughing. I think they are talking about their idol that they watch the video in laptop. That remembering me about you. You know, when we were in high school we like most talking about our idol, Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK). I really miss them. DBSK have a lot of fans in Korea. A group of  young man is sitting in a large table next to three high school girls’s table. They are eating Samgyupsal. It look delicious. You know, Samgyupsal is one of delicious and famous food here and I like it very much. The most food in South Korea is wonderful. Sometimes, I go to recreation place to refreshing like Han River, Namsan Tower, Amusement Park and Jeju Island. You know, the scenery here is the best. So wonderful.

I am fine here. I am learning a lot in my classes. I like most of my teachers and my classmates. They are so kind to me. Two of my classmates are my close friends and one of my classmates is my new boyfriend. You know, he is from Indonesia too. His name is Tian and he is nice and charming. I attend my classes every early morning, I work in Ice Cream Shop every afternoon and I study every evening. It is really tired and sometimes I feel frustated but I like my life here.

I hope that you are well and happy too. How about your school? How about your work? Do you have a new boyfriend? Can you read my letter? Please, write soon for me. I really want to read your letter too with news from your life now.
