My Motivations, Challenges and Expectations in Learning English

          Where there is a will there is a way. That is the slogan of my life. In my opinion, if we want to do something should be based on the will and intention. Without the will and intention, that desire will not be achieved.

           I am the eldest of three sibling. My brothers is still little. My mother is just a housewife and my father is a government worker. Born from a simple family can even say mediocre. This is the motivation in my life. Motivation to improve life for the better. Moreover, I am the oldest child. I have a tough task to help the family. After graduating from high school, I chose to continue studying at the University Gunadarma majoring in English Literature. Of course I have received the blessing of parents. I think that English is the language of the world. That way, there will be many job opportunities if  I study and fluent in English. At least, if I have not got a job, I can be a tutor for children. Actually my goal is to become a reporter in order to get around Indonesia and around the world ^ ^. However, I am not welcome in the department of communication. Some say that the graduates of English Literature can also be a reporter. In fact, it's easier because it already holds the English-language skills. In the department of English Literature there are any lessons of communication, right? It also become my motivation to learn English.

           From fourth grade elementary school, my parents put me into English lessons. The goal that their child could speak English. Yet somehow, during the nearly 8 years I learned my English is still lacking in vocabulary. Sure enough, until now I still lazy to follow practical vocabulary. I am dizzy because too many strange words. Moreover, I am a forgetful : '(. In addition to vocabulary, I also lack in conversation and it seems all the talk T.T. I admit that my English passive. I prefer to write and learn Grammar then conversation. Factor why until now I speak English passive is a lack of confidence when talking and that's because my vocabulary that is still lacking.

           Within four years, I hope that my weakness in English are vocabulary and conversation can be overcome by continuing to study English with enterprising. I also hope that I can graduate college on time and begin helping my father make a living for our family life. Then my goal became a reporter and can walk around Indonesia and around the world can be accomplished.
